Zener Diode
Zener diode blocks are employed in Synchronous Motor Starting Hubs to control the voltage at which Thyristors fire, allowing the hubs to function correctly.

Regulates and stabilises voltage in a circuit
Prevent problems that can occur when the supply or load voltage varies

Additional resistance may be incorporated into the blocks, where specified
