Due to increased workload in our workshop we are now seeking a Armature Winder to work in our rotating machinery business based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

• Being able to Inspect and disassemble rotating machines both LV & HV as well as being able to carry out LV?HV rewinds
• Capable of carrying out inspections, overhauls & repairs of various motors used in explosive atmospheres
• Accuratley assessing damage and wear on AC/DC electrical motors 
• Completeing clear and professional job reports

Qualifications & Experience 

The successful applicant will possess:

• A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (C&G / NVQ equivalent)
• Previous experience within a Electro-Mechanical environment
• Experience of rotating equipment as well as route cause analyses and measuring
• Previous or current AEMT training course preferred but not essential
• Must be methodical, accurate and can make notes and reports during the disassembly process
• Quality control and technical compliance in accordance with project requirements

Due to the location of the work you may be required for specific site work & offshore on occasion.
